Before you go in

What to know about the heat and the water

Three things we ask of every guest, so the sauna, the hot pool and the plunge stay comfortable for everyone.

  • What to wear

A swimsuit in the pools, the hot pool and the plunge. We lend a robe and sandals for walking between them, and a towel to sit on in the sauna. Tie long hair up and shower first.

  • Who may come in

The pools and the heat are for guests 18 and over. There is no family day and no children's session. Treatments are for guests 16 and over.

  • When to ask your doctor first

If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have been told by your doctor to take care with heat, ask your doctor before using the sauna, the hot pool or a body wrap. Leave a hot room if you feel dizzy or unwell.

From guests

A day well spent

“We came on a Tuesday and had the pool nearly to ourselves. The robe and the locker were waiting, and nobody hurried us out.”

Marguerite H.

“I booked the day with a facial. The esthetician asked what I wanted before she began, and I fell asleep in the lounge afterward.”

Wendy L.

“I'm local and I come when the weekend crowd is gone. The rules for the sauna are posted at the door and everyone follows them.”

Colin B.
